The Simon and Garfunkel Story

Continuing its acclaimed run in London’s West End, The Simon & Garfunkel Story has announced a further 6 performances at the Lyric Theatre for 2019. Having sold out major venues from Sydney to Seattle, this production will take you through the story of Simon & Garfunkel’s incredible career.

Led by Adam Dickinson and Kingsley Judd, a full live band and brass ensemble will rekindle all the duo’s classic hits including: Mrs Robinson, Cecilia, Bridge Over Troubled Water, Homeward Bound, The Sound of Silence and many more.

The Simon & Garfunkel Story not only tells the tale of the legendary musicians, but relives their journey within a time capsule of contemporary newsreels, adverts and film footage taking you right back to the 1960s.

  • SIMON & GARFUNKEL - BRILLIANT

    25 February 2020

It was absolutely brilliant from the start to end. They had a screen behind them with old pictures and events of them over the years. Amazing voices, very interesting on how their story is told. Involves the audience a lot as well. Brilliant atmosphere.

  • Very good show, despite the video

    25 February 2020

The two main performers were excellent - both sang well and sounded like the real S&G. The Paul Simon chap plays great guitar and the Garfunkel fellow does the high notes brilliantly, e.g. in Bridge OTW. Backing group good too. The one negative was the video/slide show behind the singers. Inappropriate, distracting, mainly irrelevant. Why show B52s bombing Cambodia during Scarborough Fair? What was that nonsense at the beginning of the second half? The chap behind me was convinced they had played the wrong film. The show would have been far better with no display at all. The excellent musicians and singers were let down by this shoddy work. But overall decent value for money.
