Brilliant - whole family was completely absorbed in it.

We all absolutely loved it, including 18 year old son who knew little of Israel and Palestine history. Also fantastic use of staging and lighting.

A profound insight into the workings of a backchannel
31 December 2017
This is a powerful story of human courage and fragility. It is a moving testimony to the resilience and audacity of people engaged in back channel conversations. It was thoughtful, informative, provocative and funny. I cried with laughter, sadness and sheer frustration. This was theatre at its best.

Excellent play. Gripping from start to finish even though outcome was known. A couple of silly bits, some nice aside explanations and also some easy going country knocking!

30 December 2017
We found Oslo a very interesting and engaging play with some very good acting done by the actors. The only small negative side to it was there was a time about 30 minutes before the end of the play when I felt it did drag on a bit. It became a bit irrelevant. But towards the end it pulled back again .
Overall it was a super play which tried to give a balanced approach to an otherwise very strongly felt issue.

Negotiation is always the better option
28 December 2017
This is a 'must see' play. Writing, acting, dynamism are superb. Most importantly though is the all important sensitive portrayal of how bringing sworn enemies face to face to negotiate can break down the enmity and get positive results. it worked in Ireland, it worked in Oslo. Referring to enemies as 'friends' rejecting the labels commonly imposed, can break though the established presumptions which keep people apart.
And humour leavens the seriousness of the subject.
Do see it.

Oslo - deeply relevant
24 December 2017
What a brilliant play - to make a political negotiation as sensitive as the Oslo peace accord palatable and gripping derseves accolades a plenty - funny and moving, I did cry and laugh a lot. We need more theatre that educates our children on a subject that sadly is more relevant today than ever. I left pensive and I guess that was the intention ...

Relatively middle ground, neither pro or anti Palestinian/Israeli. Wonderfully witty and a great stage performance of a complex and heart breaking issue in the Middle East. Politics made easy!

A MOMENT OF HOPE
23 December 2017
I booked to take 3 friends. I worried that it would be to everyones taste - I was, we all loved it. Two Jews, two not, we were all enthralled - a terrific achievement, informative, funny and so sad that after all the huge amount of energy and goodwill expended, it all turned to dust.
Acting and staging superb.

Oslo - intense, powerful entertainment
23 December 2017
Gripping from start to finish, Oslo takes the audience through the almost insurmountable obstacles to initiating the middle eastern peace process, the risks that had to be taken by the Norwegians to keep the process on track and the gradual thawing of relations between the protagonists as they gradually saw the humanity of their mortal enemies. Superbly acted, moving entertainment, finishing up with a plea to maintain hope.

Remarkably compelling!
21 December 2017
Oslo was utterly compelling and I really hadn't expected a drawing-room set political history play exploring an element in the Middle Eastern peace process to be so engaging, but it definitely was. The stakes are high, the performances energised and this production is a real treat!

TOO LOUD!!!!!!
20 December 2017
The shouting got in the way of the story and the authenticity of the performances. I did see the show in NYC and was not aware of all the turmoil....in NYC, there was much more emotional debating and relationship. You actually believed the commitment these people had to settling this ridiculous war. And I missed the dancing on the table. And the lead male was not such a buffoon.

Utterly wonderful must see
19 December 2017
Difficult subject matter handled with care, intensity, humour and love. The Hope constantly dangled in front of each of the participants and the audience leaving one emotionally exposed and vulnerable. Anger and Rage are so much less complicated and yet it is hope that is finally dramatically so satisfying. A wonderful peace (sic).
