A highly disrupted performance
26 April 2019
Performance highly enjoyable but inadvertently thought this must have been a ‘relaxed’ show.
Pleasure seriously marred by
* very late arrival of large, noisy school groups (30 minutes + after start of performance
* even later arrival of noisy adults
* constant noisy sharing of food
* crunching of plastic bottles

Fantastic performance
26 April 2019
Not a show I would have picked but was encouraged to do so. One of the best west end shows on offer. Funny, serious, emotional with a real ahhh factor towards the end. Highly recommend to everyone but warning there are lots of flashing lights.

Good start after
Good start of the week
24 April 2019
It was not my first time but last night didn’t disappoint me, it is an excellent play!
There was a small hiccup before entering to the theatre, the queue to collect the tickets were long and we were afraid that we would have missed the beginning of the play. Luckily, everyone was happy but it spoiled a bit the customer experience.
Wishing the whole crew the best for the remaining days of the performance.😀

What an amazing play! A true representation of the book and captured beautifully by wonderful actors who obviously understand the emotion surrounding the characters. Inspirational and a wonderful insight into living with autism. My 12 year old daughter loved it and it was aimed perfectly at adults and young adults. Highly recommended before it leaves the West End.

Bravo for the most powerful play on stage
19 April 2019
From the intriguing yet clever set to the powerful performances, it was a privilege to be in the audience. We were moved to tears but there were plenty of light moments to lift the mood. And we lived it all through the eyes of the inspirational Christopher who truly was brave.

The Curious Incident
16 April 2019
I was mesmerised! So immersive. Humorous, poignant, intelligent and dazzling at times! Plenty to think about and reflect on, with performances so compelling that you actually feel you understand the characters. Great acting. Very physical and lively too, which I didn't expect. No time to get bored. I doubt I'll see a show THIS good for several years, months, days, hours, minutes and seconds....

Read the book years ago and loved it. This is the 2nd time I've seen the show with 2 different lead actors. Both are absolutely fantastic.
I have worked with autistic young people for almost 18 years and it is so good to see the good, the bad and the ugly sides if it portrayed so well.
Totally amazing.

16 April 2019
This production was very well organised , designed and cleverly done! The audience was totally engaged; you could have heard a pin drop during the emotional scenes.
Sam Newton was totally convincing and played the role of Christopher perfectly. The ending was emotional and inspirational.
This play is not just for those who want to understand the nature of autism better but also for those who like to see the best in everyone.
The theatre was comfortable and hospitably staffed with refreshments available to be delivered to your seat.

Relaxed Performance
7 April 2019
This review would be five stars were it not for the fact that it was impossible to submerge myself in the excellent production due to extraneous noises from around the theatre. This was a Relaxed Performance. Something new to me and which I will avoid in future.
