The Girl on the Train

At the Duke of York’s Theatre for FOUR WEEKS ONLY this summer.

Rachel Watson longs for a different life.

Her only escape is the perfect couple she watches through the train window every day, happy and in love. Or so it appears. When Rachel learns that the woman she’s been secretly watching has suddenly disappeared, she finds herself as a witness and even a suspect in a thrilling mystery in which she will face bigger revelations than she could ever have anticipated.

Adapted from Paula Hawkins’ novel – an international phenomenon selling over twenty million copies worldwide – and starring Samantha Womack, this gripping new play will keep you guessing until the final moment.

Samantha Womack has starred extensively in television, film and theatre. She is best known for playing Ronnie Mitchell in BBC1’s EastEnders with leading roles in Mount Pleasant and Game On, and the hit films, The Kingsman series.

Samantha Womack plays a powerful role in this thoughtful play. Gutsy and honest performance!

  • Fantastic way to spend an afternoon

    18 August 2019

What a lovely theatre and a great sunny afternoon in London. Fantastic and very well acted show with a little humour and lots of intensity. 2 of us had read the book and seen the film and 2 of us not but we all enjoyed this great play equally

  • 5 stars

Cannot recommend this enough for theatre goers. The talent was a given but they were all so friendly afterwards in person. Fantastic set and lighting - £15 ticket had stated that we will have a restricted view but the seats were perfect for the price. Nice terrace bar which is reasonably priced. Great experience overall!

  • Really Great Show

    18 August 2019

I had read the book and loved it. Wasn’t sure if I would like this as much but I did. It had some humour in it too which I didn’t expect. Great Actors/actresses. Seats were not great but hey ho!
