The battle scars from the Wars of the Roses are yet to heal but that’s not going to deter power-hungry Richard. The crown should be his and no one is going to stop him from getting it: not the King, his own wife, or the Princes in the Tower.
Join Shakespeare’s monstrously charismatic villain as he embarks on a bloody campaign for the crown. Richard’s reign of terror is about to begin…

A fantastic evening, made glorious summer!
20 January 2020
First visit to the Globe for my friend and I and we could not have picked a better performance. My first chance to see Richard III live and was not sure what to expect based on press reviews but we were both bowled over. The casting, the set, the use of music, and not forgetting Radcliffe with his light!! All combined for a fantastic, unforgettable, evening.

A refreshing new take on my favourite play. Great cast and the production moved at a good pace. Lots of unexpected comedy.

Richard III
9 December 2019
A fantastic experience all in candle light. I liked how the director played with the gendre issue. Steffan Donnelly as Magaret and Sophie Russel as R 3! The actress said sword and gave Lady Anne a plastic bag; great. The audience accepted. If it's well don we accept anything. The ending monologue spoke about unity how England must unite. My tears were falling and my thought went to the process of Brexit and how terribly sad it is. I can't think of the UK outside EU. Will I need a visa next time I'll come to London ?
