Everything was perfect. The set was stunning the performers were first class. Obviously the plot was astounding! The theatre was spot in the staff were very helpful and friendly.

Great fun with excellent use of a semi-presentational style. Agatha Christie’s characters come to life and delight you with their timeless quirkiness. It’s easy to see how this play has run for 70 years. More to think about than a murder and more to entertain than a mystery.

The play was funnier and more charming than I was anticipating. And the coziness of the theatre also adds to the ambience and pleasure of the night. The audience was very well behaved and good humoured although I was unlucky to be seated next to someone was clearly sick and was coughing and snorting. In this post-pandemic era we're all much more sensitive about being around coughers and splurgiers. Nevertheless, the play is still a timeless gem.

Although we really enjoyed the play we were very disappointed with the bar.
We pre-ordered drinks before and for the interval. The pre show was fine, but the repeat for the interval was a disaster. We were given soda instead of tonic and when we querried the order, the bar tended argued with us that it was what we ordered. We have now checked and he was incorrect. Although this may seem a small matter, it spoilt our evening.

Yesterday I saw The Mousetrap for the first time. I am a Dutch writer for musicals etc and I play theater as well. I think it is a universal stage law not to act with the back to the audience.
And I was really astonished by the lack of a decent cloakroom! Anno 2023. I loved the way of British acting, the ambiance of the theatre which represents the unique English tradition.

My wife and I celebrated our 30 year wedding anniversary last night at St Martin's Theatre in the West End and the Mousetrap production. It was an amazing show. The cast are superb, e ery single one of them. Loved the whole thing, the set is fantastic and the set designer should be mentioned as it was so realistic and only added to whole wonderful experience. I can't say who the guilty party/parties were at the end as we've been sworn to secrecy so you'll just have to find out by going to see the Mousetrap yourselves. All great theatre stars in the making! 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆.
