What Should I Expect

Wicked The Musical is loosely based on the novel of the same name written by Gregory Maguire.

The musical tells the story of the two witches who will become Glinda the Good and the Wicked Witch of the West. In this subversive retelling of the familiar story of Oz, the green-skinned Elphaba is a well-meaning outcast just trying to do the right thing, while the extroverted Glinda is just trying to be popular. The two meet in school, where their relationship and their lives take a number of startling turns.

Wicked The Musical has won numerous awards, including an Olivier Award for Most Popular Show, two Olivier Audience Awards and three WhatsOnStage Awards for ‘Best West End Show’.

  • Great seats - shame it took an hour to cancel!

    19 November 2017

We had fab seats; my sister came over from America to see the show but after an hour left sitting in the audience the show was cancelled due to technical problems. I understand these things happen but had we been told earlier it would have saved me £30 in drinks that I would never have purchased - £8.10 for 3 small bottles of still water is outrageous. The bar service also was horrendously slow with it taking over 7 minutes for 2 customers to be served. Shame the highlight of our weekend was spoilt. Refund was made automatically the next day which was a plus.

From the foyer the staff were wonderful as I am disabled . Did find stairs a bit hard to the stalls . The show was outstanding from start to finish . Toilet facilities excellent. This was the 4th time my sister and niece have been and love it every time . May it continue for many years to come

  • Wow, love this show so much, never disappoints.

    19 November 2017

This is our 7th time of seeing it and it never disappoints. The singing capabilities of the main characters are amazing. Ive seen several people play these roles and every one has been excellent. I love that they put their own personality to it. For me this time it was the riffs in Elphabas part just made it exquisite to listen to and very powerful. Its a way of making something thats the same different everytime I see it.
