Based on the phenomenal 1980s film, Fame The Musical is the international smash hit stage sensation following the lives of students at New York's High School For The Performing Arts as they navigate their way through the highs and lows, the romances and the heartbreaks and the ultimate elation of life.
This bittersweet but uplifting triumph of a show explores the issues that confront many young people today: prejudice, identity, pride, literacy, sexuality, substance abuse and perseverance.
Featuring the Oscar-winning title song and a cast of outstanding dancers, singers, musicians and rappers as they transform from star struck pupils to superstars, Fame The Musical will indeed live forever.

What is the venues Babe in Arms policy?
any customer buying a ticket for a child for any show at the Regent Theatre will be required to pay for that ticket at the price stated unless that child is under the age of 18 months in which case the child will granted entry to the theatre free of charge in the understanding the child will not be given a seat and will be classed as “Babe in Arms” should the customer wish for the child to be given a seat then a full priced ticket will need to be purchased

Age recommendation: Fame - The Musical is suitable for ages 12+ due to sex, drug, mental health references and mild swearing.
Please Note: Under 14s must be accompanied by a paying adult (18+). Unfortunately there is no lift access to the Circle or Boxes. When booking your seats on the internet, you should be aware that best seating views are listed in colour order from left to right on the price list and that the lowest price band may indicate a restricted view. Should you have any queries regarding restricted view seats, booking wheelchair spaces, Boxes or Group Bookings, please contact our Box Office on 01473 433100 (Ipswich Entertainments do not accept American Express). The show running times can be subject to change by the promoter on the day, we apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

You will receive a confirmation email with your voucher attached. Please print this voucher, it is your ticket of admission. Bring the voucher to the theatre, we recommend you arrive a minimum of 30 minutes before the show to settle into your seats.
