The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe

Step through the wardrobe this winter into the magical kingdom of Narnia for the most mystical of adventures in a faraway land. Join Lucy, Edmund, Susan and Peter as they wave goodbye to wartime Britain and say hello to a talking Faun, an unforgettable Lion and the coldest, cruellest White Witch.

This critically acclaimed production reunites director Sally Cookson with designer Rae Smith, writer in the room Adam Peck, movement director Dan Canham, puppetry director Craig Leo, lighting designer Bruno Poet, sound designer Ian Dickinson and music by Benji Bower all of whom originally brought the show to life in 2017 breaking box office records at Leeds Playhouse.

Have seen the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe before and thought it would be a traditional telling of the story but was surprised by this excellent production. Very creative, great fun, audience participation, and great enthusiasm from the cast. Well done everyone involved.

  • Amazing

We had front seats at the side of the stage in the stalls, My son 11 had a booster seat, we were both happy with our view. The puppeteers and costumes were fantastic. The performers interacted with the audience, which added enjoyment to the show. My son actually compared this show with The Lion King and was really happy. I would definitely recommend this show, the theatre is not that big so I would only assume view would be ok wherever you sit.
