Game of Thrones and Skins collide. All tickets just £12.50!
*Starring Game of Thrones star Daniel Portman as Fredrick Clegg, alongside Lily Loveless (Skins) who will play Miranda Grey.*
Miranda Grey loves Frederick Clegg, she just doesn't know it yet.
She has never met him, she has never spoken to him, but she will fall in love with him, Frederick will make sure of that, no matter what.
Adapted by Mark Healy from the classic novel by John Fowles, The Collector is the story of a lonely butterfly collector and his obsession with a beautiful art student. When Frederick comes into a large amount of money, he buys a deserted country house and makes preparations to accommodate a very special house guest.
Directed by Joe Hufton (Alice’s Adventures Underground, Scarlett, Portia) The Collector is a tense, psychological, edge of the seat thriller. Will Miranda become a permanent addition to his collection or will she be able to convince him to let her fly free?

Bit of a slow starter

Until the point the main character turns and slaps his hand on the table it is a bit of dull affair. After this point things do pick up.

Cleverly performed by two excellent actors. Perhaps a lack of atmosphere and his love of collecting butterflies too subliminal. Enjoyed the experience of the vaults!

This was an incredible play. Daniel Portman was amazing, so much so he actually made you feel that the way his mind thought actually made sense (in his world). The intensity was unreal and being on a small stage with sound of trains above was brilliant. Want to see more of Daniel on stage- wow!! Going again to take some friends.

The actors are really good. The location is a little bit awkward but Interestingly I did like the bohemian style. Regarding the play, I will probably add in the description that this contains strong languages and violence . A psycho abusing a girl wasn't my cup of tea, I was really upset in the second half of the play. I was unable to leave as there are not accessible ways to just stand up and go. I won't recommend this play to any person who get affected by this kind of scenarios. .
