The Simon & Garfunkel Story (Lyric Theatre)

Continuing its acclaimed run in London’s West End, The Simon & Garfunkel Story has announced a further 6 performances at the Lyric Theatre for 2019. Having sold out major venues from Sydney to Seattle, this production will take you through the story of Simon & Garfunkel’s incredible career.

Led by Adam Dickinson and Kingsley Judd, a full live band and brass ensemble will rekindle all the duo’s classic hits including: Mrs Robinson, Cecilia, Bridge Over Troubled Water, Homeward Bound, The Sound of Silence and many more.

The Simon & Garfunkel Story not only tells the tale of the legendary musicians, but relives their journey within a time capsule of contemporary newsreels, adverts and film footage taking you right back to the 1960s.

Generally happy. The performers were brilliant. Found the very early songs a bit boring but this wasn’t antibodies fault. Just weren’t to my taste. After that though it was brilliant

  • Worth seeing

    21 May 2019

The band was great and the two stars playing Simon and Garfunkel were terrific. But I went to hear their greatest hits and only half of them were played. The others were their songs that never really made it to the top and so we don’t know them. I found that disappointing. I realize it may be due to the cost of royalties but if you are going to put on a show like this then you need to go for it or don’t do it. Like Jersey Boys, Thriller, Dream Girls, Beautiful, we go to these shows to hear all the music we loved not to hear the ones we don’t even know.
