My sister and I really enjoyed our first experience of attending a ballet.
I chose The Nutcracker because of the music.
The story telling through dance, the music and the venue was very good.
The usher was vigilant in ensuring the audience was respectful!

The Nutcracker is a Christmas tradition and this years experience with the National Ballet was no exception. It is a beautiful ballet with extraordinary music. I absolutely love the second part with the different nationality solo and ensemble performance.

It was a fabulous performance and my daughter and I were captivated by how magical it was.
The theatre was absolutely stunning.
We had such a wonderful time.

The Ballet is beautiful and stunning. We went to a matinee which may have been the best for two adults. The performance was mared but the noise and disruption of small babies and small children and not suitable for this age group . In particular those parents who are unable to control their children . Should go to a Pantomime Suggest a minimum age limit

Amazing performance, spoilt by the number of babies and small children that screamed and didn't shut up throughout the performance. I understand that babies cry, but the parents should take them outside to allow others to enjoy.

The performance was outstanding. The production had small elements of humour which added value to the performance. My daughter was mesmerised. It was easy for her to follow what was happening. The dancers were exceptional and the set design provided a real magical feel.

First half very tedious with young children performing most of the first half. Couldn’t wait for it to move on. Sorry! I know the youth feature in this ballet but they went on and in and on.......

The show was brilliant but it was a shame that the view was slightly restricted and that the show was children friendly, which was not advertised when booking. A quiet ballet is not enjoyed with screaming and crying children!

Beautiful theatre ,staff were amazing. And ballet was exquisite Young old and in between were mesmerised. It was a dream come true for my best friend to see a ballet and we both enjoyed it so much

Row F seats 50 and 51 ideal view of the stage for this production.
Middle seating had already been booked theses seats provided an excellent view of the stage from the dress circle.
Superb dancing and fabulous costumes.
A wonderful visit. We will be returning.

I enjoyed how the show was split into two parts and not just because of the break.
You are told the story in the first half and then get to appreciate ballet and a variety of other dance in the second half.

This was the first ballet I’ve ever seen and I must say it was excellent. My wife & I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. I’m more used to a football stadium so this was not my cup of tea at all. The time seemed to fly by as well, at no point did it feel like it was dragging & wishing it would finish.
